DON’T SEND YOUR KIDS HERE
“You keep telling us to be adults about our injustice and discrimination, but we don't want to be like you."
"We don't want to learn to accept and ignore Racism and sexual harassment
If your children are not White, don’t send them here.
Especially not to River Ridge High School. Having the most diverse school in the district-you would think, this day and age would be a good thing- but think again. They show the least amount of support for their BIPOC population, despite having Black and Latin administrators in positions of Power.
I can’t tell if they’re more like Samuel from Django Unchained, Uncle Ruckus from The Boondocks, or The Black cop from Boyz n the Hood. Your own people showing out for the white co-sign, until they remind you, “Nigger you know your Black right”. (Shout out to ICE CUBE for that line,)
The Black Student Union, decided to protest today January 31st, 2022, at River Ridge, against racism, sexual harassment, and every other discrimination White people are fighting in court to maintain.
The student’s message to the North Thurston School District should wake everybody up,
“You keep telling us to be adults about our injustice and discrimination, but we don't want to be like you."
"We don't want to learn to accept and ignore Racism and Sexual Harassment.”
They should never want to follow in a sympathizer’s footsteps.
And soon as they said that-It was as if the bleached skin Jesus MeriKKKa prays to couldn't make it to the salon, because at that moment, administrators were spying, and two white students came out from the pool, bare chested and in swim trunks to harass the Black Students.
The administrators quickly went over to politely ask the aggressors to resume swimming but told the Black and other students of color that they would not graduate if they protested.
To make matters worse, the district sent out an email before the protest. Stating;” We, The North Thurston Public School District do not support the protest.” “We advise our Black Students to wait until Black History Month to Voice their issues.”
What kind of confederate, Birth of a Nation, White Domestic Terrorist Militia response is that?
And that’s why I wasn’t excited when Derek Chauvin was sentenced, because I knew people would exhale and go back to sleep and dream Blacks would shut up and accept every inhumane treatment like they try to make us believe slaves did.
"Why would we wait until next month when we have been speaking up about this for years!" A student asked.
River Ridge and North Thurston School District are banking on the protest being ignored. Then they can continue to cover up the Racism and Sexual Harassment cases and proceed with business as usual.
The students Need support from everyone. If you really want to end the bullying, harassment, murder, depression, and suicide of your children, then show up and support the Black Student Union.
If not, then just continue allowing racists and sexual deviants to torment your kids.
Remember, you're the adults. So don’t just act like one- Fucking BE ONE.
The protest will continue until The Black Student Unions demands are met. They will protest at 7:30 am, every day until further notice.
And if you’re wondering why the other schools didn’t participate, or more students didn’t show up for support? You already know why.
P.S. I saw more women there supporting than men. What the fuck is that about?
My President is Wack (Remix to Jeezy’s My President is Black)
My President is Wack
Trump sitting back watching Joe “the walking dead Biden” and Kamala “I’m just here so I won’t get fined” Harris like
“See I told MERIKKKA they needed me.” “Especially the Blacks. I’m the plug for those bugs, I’m the raid for their aid, without me they not motivated to change.”
And my Whites went on back to the (N)…er (F)’o (L)ife league, now that black people say Kap for things you shouldn’t believe.
Ice cube said, “Blacks are too fucking broke to be Republicans”, but now it seems like we are too Black to be Democrats. Because they’re just a few steps away from bringing the party back to the reconstruction’s days, when they told Blacks to behave, or the grave is where they’ll hang and created codes to take away Black hope.
In the name of a skinned bleached Jesus, Merica prays that Blacks will never change. This year they got both sports and entertainment.

Regret is for Dicks
A man has few pure moments; rage, (focused and un-focused), love, hate, lust.
And complete confusion, about every one of those reactions he forgot he created in someone else.
I didn’t say regret because people don’t regret while in the act or moment.
Mind Playing Tricks
His bedroom became a grave. His sheets childish as it sounds, hid a shifting corpse. As he ghosted responsibility, believing no-one cared. He tried to sink, further, underneath, to his end.

Seattle-area parent and radio host make Black youth feel threatened over powerful MLK Jr. Day poem
On January 17th 2022, The North Thurston High School, presented a virtual assembly for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. During the assembly a Black youth shared a poem in honor of MLK Jr’s legacy.
The poem upset a parent (referred to as a Mexican mother in the attached article). Rantz: Seattle-area school uses MLK Jr. Day to bash police and USA - MyNorthwest.com, (Jason Rantz, 2021).
The parent forwarded the video to a conservative radio station 770KTTH, where its host Jason Rantz, posted the video on twitter @jasonrantz, and asked, “Is this what the holiday is meant for?”
The answer to that question is an obvious, resounding, YES! That is exactly what it’s meant for.
Quick history-White America only plays the gentle part of the I have a dream speech, where MLK Jr, states his dream of little Black boys and girls holding hands with little White boys and girls, and Blacks being judged by their character not their color. They don’t show MLK Jr. criticizing America about racism, injustice and inequality. They don’t show him saying there will be uprising and unrest until we have justice.
And in 2022, 54 years after MLK Jr’s murder, Black people are still facing these same issues. ---No theories, just Facts and Truths.
If you want a deeper education, you can read the full transcript or watch the video Transcript of Martin Luther King's 'I Have a Dream' speech : NPR
In his article regarding the poem, Rantz states “Anti-police and anti-America messages on display.”
Let’s dissect each line from the poem to see if we can find a Lie or any anti-police or anti-America messages. And also see why Critical Race Facts are being opposed by Whites preferring the continued teaching of White Racial Theory.
Poetry lines are highlighted in BOLD.
“But I’m convinced nothing will change as long as there are people fighting for Confederate monuments,” TRUTH!!! –
Confederate states, went to war against their own country over “the prosperous economic system of slavery and their determination to keep it.” And those statues were erected to honor racist leaders of that war. Causes Of The Civil War | History Detectives | PBS ,

“As long as there are people out there continuing to capitalize on Black lives, as long as there are people who really believe that our votes aren’t denied.” TRUTH!!!
This is happening now with the debate over voting rights. Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell’s allies likewise “insist that the filibuster wasn’t created specifically for racist purposes but is merely one tool that was used to protect white supremacy.” “Of course, the Senate filibuster has been used to protect segregation and slavery. Lots of the tools of American democracy were used at one point or another to protect segregation and slavery. But by custom, it was used rarely and almost always for the purpose of blocking civil-rights bills.” Here’s Why the Filibuster Is a Jim Crow Relic (nymag.com), (Jonathan Chait, 2021.)

As far as capitalizing on Black Lives--- Marketers Are Underpaying Black Influencers While Pushing Black Lives Matter - Bloomberg, (Sarah Frier, 2021)
Does anyone else see the TRUTH?!!
The student then asks, “does anyone know what the colors of the American Flag represent?”
He explains that the flag’s “red represents, “the blood we shed building a country that sees us as less than human.” “It stands for “the blood for a system that puts us behind bars for profit.” TRUTH!!!
I will assume Rantz knows his American history. I will also assume he knows American history is also Black history. I’m sure Rantz was watching the news over the last several years and saw innocent unarmed Black people murdered by police.
“Armed Black people were killed at 2.6 times the rate of armed white people.” “Among unarmed victims, Black people were killed at three times the rate. Racial disparity in police shootings unchanged over 5 years | YaleNews , (Brita Belli, 2020.)
And before some pretend genius uses White America’s favorite plea “what about Black-on-Black crime?” The answer is “What about White-on-White crime?” More importantly, “What about White youth shooting up schools’ crime?”
“In 2018, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reported that 81% of white victims were killed by white offenders” Fact check: Meme shows incorrect homicide stats by race (usatoday.com), (Camille Caldera, 2020.)
Another report conducted in 2018 showed “80% percent of White murders are committed by White offenders” Fact check: False data on U.S. racial murder rates | Reuters, 2018
The poem continues, as the teen explains what the white in the flag, represents. “purity of little Black boys and girls who are victim to a one-way ticket to prison, the purity of our minds and who we are as a people being broken down and walked on like a concrete sidewalk.”--- OPINION!!! rooted in some FACTS. This is where theory happens.
The next section, describing the blue in the flag. Rantz tells us before we read “The teen isn’t fond of the police.”--- OPINION!!!
“heroes, defenders of what’s right and wrong during the day and night but struggle to refrain from taking innocent life.” They choke you up and beat you down, thinking if they can’t wipe the color from your skin, they’ll watch it go out in your eyes,” he rhymes. “And just like that, you’re another Black body disenfranchised by the system that claims to see everyone as equal in its eyes. That’s a lie. More lies more poisonous than the tear gas that they attack us with. Tired of seeing police chiefs come to stand and read apologies like an actor reads this line off a page.” --- TRUTH!!!
They are HEROES-except for the ones who struggle with what he describes. The attached article might help America understand the TRUTH & OPINION behind his beliefs-especially considering how much America loves Veterans. Army vet risked his life to expose who was in the KKK : NPR, (The Associated Press,2021)
White Supremacist Infiltration of US Police Forces: Fact-Checking National Security Advisor O’Brien (justsecurity.org), (Danielle Schulkin, 2020)
Where does it say he’s not fond of the police? HE CALLS THEM HEROES. Where does he Lie? He is talking about incidents that have happened in public and shown on the news.---ALL FACTS AND TRUTH.
But since Derrick Chauvin’s conviction, America has forgotten that Black Lives Matter, and about George Floyd, Eric Gardner, and Breonna Taylor, and those terrible murders aren’t even the most recent.
In my opinion, he believes we need Police, but because of certain individuals, the system does need to be reformed. And to fix any misunderstanding (reform does not mean abolish)
“ Black criminals are sentenced in bias trials for “committing the worst crime of Black Heritage.”--- TRUTH!!!
“Black Americans are incarcerated in state prisons at nearly 5 times the rate of white Americans.” The Color of Justice: Racial and Ethnic Disparity in State Prisons | The Sentencing Project, (Ashley Nellis Ph.D, 2021.)
The poet also holds Blacks that commit crimes accountable. But he also shows Blacks as humans, who make mistakes, and should be treated equal to White teens that commit extreme acts of violence and are shown compassion regarding their surroundings, upbringing and mental health.
Rantz writes, “an angry young man critical of the country in which he lives and the System of Oppression, that victimizes him and other Black Americans. --- “TRUTH!!!
The young man is and should be critical about the system of oppression.
(Remember)-Anti-maskers constantly protest about wearing masks that help save lives and stop the spread of a deadly virus because they feel oppressed.
Rantz wrote, “It was a critical race theory anthem meant to use a peer to continue to indoctrinate youth into buying the far-left views administrators and progressive, activist students hold.”---LIES!!! From viral videos to Fox News: how rightwing media fueled the critical race theory panic | US education | The Guardian
Actual- Truthful indoctrination is the brainwashing done by Charles Manson to his followers. David Koresh to his followers. Hitler to the Nazis. Donald Trump, to his Alt right, Proud Boy, All Lives Matter, Blue Lives Matter, Insurrectionist followers.
(Remember)- some of these movements began after Obama was elected and became more powerful during Trump’s presidency. And all of them happened because Black people wanted equal rights-which is exactly why the KKK was founded to end Black people from progressing., https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/kkk-founded, (January 2022)
(Never forget that the KKK also came out and endorsed trump) ALL TRUTH, NO THEORY!!!
TRUTH is, White American history and racism is theorized because it leaves out facts. So, the poems critical tone about race is very necessary.
What part of Black, People of Color, and Immigrants suffering racism, injustice, and inequality in America and throughout its history is theory? (None---It’s all TRUTH!!!)
The good and bad parts of history must be taught, studied, learned, and discussed without malice. Or else we will keep repeating it. That is TRUTH, regardless of what side you support.
In the article, Rantz explains how “one daughter/student watching the video felt compulsory.
I have to say, that is disappointing. If a child doesn’t want to watch a video of poetry celebrating MLK Jr, they shouldn’t have to. But they should watch a documentary on MLK Jr’s journey and his fight for civil rights to know and see what really happened.
Truth is critical, and it will show during the civil rights movement that MLK Jr. faced extreme racism. Blacks were hated, lynched, hung, and beat for peacefully marching. They received this treatment from the American government, White parents, and their little White girls and boys, the police and fire departments.
People should also see how the White allies that sided with MLK Jr. were also hated and beat. Sounds familiar right? --- No theory. Just FACTS and TRUTH!!!
The mother who forwarded the article to Rantz, said she “thinks an adult put the youth up to the poem because she can’t imagine a kid going through these issues.”
Ahhhh, to this I ask, do you know what country you live in? Or more importantly, for this instance, What school district your non-White child attends? (I assume the child is not White, because the mother referred to herself as Mexican.)
You are in the school district where high school teachers tell black students to “come to the front of the class and pick cotton to see what it feels like to be a slave.”
The school’s response to the incident was “North Thurston Public Schools deeply apologizes for the hurt and offense this classroom activity inflicted on our students.” Local students allegedly made to participate in cotton-picking activity; school district apologizes – KIRO 7 News Seattle, (2021)
This is a school district where White narrators read the audio of White American literature describing Black people as Niggers in Freshman English classes, with the only explanation being “you all are adults, and this is just how they spoke back then.” Ignoring the FACT and TRUTH, that Blacks are still fighting the same racism today. (The school handled this incident internally)
Your child is in a school district where the word Nigger gets painted on walls, and the Black custodians have to remove it. (The school handled this incident internally)
Your child is in a school district where non-Black students attend high school basketball games and taunt Black players with monkey noises, and then post it on social media to traumatize Black students. Racist incident at Capital vs. River Ridge basketball game | Tacoma News Tribune (thenewstribune.com) (The father of the child who was subjected to the racism, posted the incident on Facebook and has had several requests to remove the video.) Silence increases the Theory that racism doesn’t exist.
This school district classified Asian students as White instead of People of Color (POC), because they performed too well, - aka-were too smart not to be any race other than White. WA school district apologizes for excluding Asians as POC (nwasianweekly.com), (2020)
Maybe the mother doesn’t realize sending articles to right wing media outlets greenlights further attacks against Black youth.
To that mother, I hope you realize brown skinned people are also who MLK Jr. was fighting for, and the Black youth that made you so upset was also speaking up for.
If you want to know the truth about critical race theory, study the FACTS! Martin Luther King Jr. who obviously, FACTUALLY-TRUTHFULLY, believed All Lives mattered, wanted to protect, and improve All lives but knew that couldn’t happen without improving the lives of Blacks and other oppressed people.
Study the FACTS and TRUTHS of why the Black Lives Matter movement was founded, and how they have the same dream as MLK Jr. and the civil rights movement---TRUTH!!!
Also study the history behind why both movements were met with racism and how their White allies were demonized. ---ALL TRUTH, no theory!!!
Rantz also wrote “School districts across America are going woke at all costs.”---LIES!!!
If that were true, we wouldn’t have a rise in racism. From viral videos to Fox News: how rightwing media fueled the critical race theory panic | US education | The Guardian, (Julie Carrie Wong, 2021)
FBI says hate crimes against Asian and Black people rise in the U.S. (cnbc.com), (Dan Mangan, 2021.)
To the passionate young Black, Gifted Poet,
The only thing you need to fear is quitting when they try to force, seduce, or use fear tactics to stop you from telling the truth. Keep educating yourself. Read and learn the Black side, and the White side of thought. It is all written for you to study and televised for you to watch, learn, and understand, while gaining knowledge and wisdom.
Base your insights on FACTS and TRUTH. And just as White people are proud of their heritage, be proud of yours. It’s a privilege they cannot remove. Keep your composure because these people know what they do. They will instigate negative responses so you can prove you are an angry Black…… Never believe racists are stupid. Because if they were, they would not control some of the most powerful and profitable institutions.
Lastly, your poem was perfect, it carried on Martin Luther King Jr’s tradition.
“There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.” Martin Luther King Jr. Transcript of Martin Luther King's 'I Have a Dream' speech : NPR

Lord Have Mercy
The only religious experience I allow myself to participate in or succumb to, is the orgasm.
So, when you start preaching to me and I tell you to beat it, you know why.
EGO
Growing up with addicts turned me into a scavenger that had to have it.
I believed karma was only for pussy’s involved in female drama.
If a girl told me NO! I would just jerk off and never give her a second thought.
And then Reject them, it makes you sexier.
Lies open thighs.
Truth gets you through.
I talk shit cause my ego is BIG.
So, I won’t tell you, that during every heartbreak, I begged. Over the phone, through love notes and poems
Runaway Love
Ladies and Gentlemen. I was up late again. Nothing put me to sleep. Not even porn. So, I’m going to write about nothing and hope I come up with something.
Playing with my shadow, wishing it would loom large and be admired like a giant prick, this is a tough task. I’m already hard enough to deal with. But, then, I could screw the world over, without any blame. I could flirt, with disaster, because that is what we are all chasing.
I give the attention. When I am threatened, they get a rise out of me, as expected. I will yell “suck on my night stick.” And “choke and die.” The horror on their faces will look like they had a mouth full of crusty cum stained taint.
That should always be the reward for minding another man’s business. Is that too much? Nah, it’s not enough. If you play rough and dirty, you should be left hurt and disgusting.
When you knock a someone’s hustle, the square off might leave you out-lined in chalk. That’s my “Hova talk”
Ahhhhh. I feel so much better now. Good night or good morning, whichever the- fuck- what you are encountering.
Role model
I told my children not to do what I do, unless they want to hurt people, and fuck shit up, cause pimpin ain’t easy but it sure it fun.
My wife has been avoiding me since the first of the month.
In My Lifetime
Everybody knows
They’re scared.
Scared you won't be, and that you’ll find out why. They greet you, hostile, to help the rising fall. introducing lessons-but
Everybody knows ego, and they say “you’re trippin"
Everybody knows what I'm saying, but say I translate different. The words I pick, were not meant for their type of ill-spread lies, to make the dumb literate.
Cursed in failure. They raise hell and bail, for a crime they caused but I pay for. In this place Everybody knows. They want me to go.
When I decide to leave, tired from fighting for what everybody knows is mine. I gotta mind, and it makes everybody lose theirs.
Everybody acts surprised, my body seizes when flares fly from hands. I just want to go-home-to my family. I am celebrating birth today.
I'm everybody's favorite holiday, lit up every night, somewhere shadowing my color and vivacity.
They say "don't you dare."
I say, "I have to."
I ask everybody " what would you do?
YOU ALL KNOW.
Everybody pretends they don't.
Like that pain of the family junkie, you cross the street to avoid helping, moving away you don’t have to see proof.
Everybody knows. They see you.
Manchild Running Wild
Lord let me make it tonight. Don't let my star dim under this moon. Light the way. I love you but don't wanna see you soon.
Prayer for my N.O.R.E.’$ (Niggas On The Run Eating)
Huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh. Running. Crushing leaves, reminded him of stomping and breaking bones of intruders.
“I’m a-live-nigga-right”, he told himself. Happy he made it out.
Panting! Yelling! Footsteps!
Chambering, of the undertaker’s favorite gift, jolted him back to the present.
Huh, huh, huh, huuunhhh!
Sounds his girl made before she came. Love, sometimes, brought the same rush as hate.
Remembering his last visit to the strip club. He and his lady were on the outs that night. He needed action to avoid a jackin’ spree. Throwing his hand was a vice that gripped, til they were broken. Betting it all that he was thorough enough to be rewarded without his bread, stuffing deep in lips and cheeks. Instead, he left with hook’in money.
Down an alley, animals make home, he pounded in a fit- like he was trying to beat shame. Her moans, now that he was really, really, thinking back on it, were stroking for a tip much bigger than his.
He wondered where she was. Cold lonely nights are made for forbidden love. The only time its forgiven.
Huh, huh, huh, huh-chest heaving. Breaths departed like stolen hope of brothers on corners, warmed from hot blood, splashing through open mouths.
Wise, told himself "Don’t give up." “Cause they aint."
Staring at billboards and skyscrapers. Heights he reached once on a plane, from the earth’s medicine, and from rooftops where he soaked in the creators’ gifts. Looking down on the scattered, packed like roaches and rats. He wondered. Imagined stories of the life’s he would never enter. He hoped all his niggas’dem, would survive, in a city where the economy boosts after color dies. He thought- nothing but white lies. We spread them, then dead each other.
Huh, huh, huh, huh, huh…
FUCK! I don’t wanna…
Wise hid in a building. Hoping to avoid a congregation from the nosey lights. The crunch of broken glass, sounded like a swarm, on this nervous quiet night. The storm of a setup was the only news Black folk never heard of.
Waiting, silent as lawmakers, ready to bang victims raw with their gavel.
He began again, "please god"…
Then decided, chasing spirits was the end of movements.
Wise shut his eyes with gentle anguish as if summoning a migraine to end. Then crouched and duckwalked across the house to the furthest room without stopping.
He thought- Why couldn’t I do this on the wrestling team? I would’ve made varsity my first year.
He saw underwear and socks spread across an open oven, where cold hands that rubbed clothed skin, were heated to regain feeling. The whole house was painted with the aroma of struggle, survival, and dope. Where baking soda made foam that cleaned and rotted teeth. Anything out of place in this, made occupants flip, spazzing like mothers who lost sons.
His own father was in a home that made the domesticated wild. Settled in a cage where bastard’s escape children. Men with young minds, gambling life instead of holding their babies.
When Wise thought about his father, his palms itched like a dirty interaction that gave him a rash.
Before his father broke out, so he could run loose, like the women lusted, but un-loved, who drained wallets, and sucked the life out of marriages faster than cheaters come, and played victim- he told his son,
“don’t nobody owe you. And if that's how you survive then everyone you deal with will own, you.”
Wise took it as parent code for BOY! You got your chance to be a man, NOW! Instead of once in a while, when he lifted, did some pushups, smelled funk from his pits, or after his first piece of pussy, survived his first fight, and figured out how to handle himself, or got mad after believing promises that were never kept.
-So, basically the motherfucker was saying-
“ain’t no excuse that help you.”
Wise knew his father was trying to clear the karma of his DNA. And wondered if it was high blood pressure from seasons of misdeeds and hard living, diabetes, or just pure hopelessness and stupidity.
Angry for attention with the mind of a young and wed, Wise kicked out a window to test his importance. Then jumped out and ran.
More footsteps and panting. They were on him again!
He heard horns beep, tires skid to a halt.
He ducked into an alley. A morgue for the forgotten. Wild eyes, reflecting danger, curiosity, envy. And the occasional pretender- waiting for manipulated love to not be a dead end-jerked him to a slow walk.
Wise placed his hands- palms out, to present peace. Ready to leave them resting that way.
He was transported back to his time in juvie. Rodney "mouse," Carlson, welcomed him by promising to knock out his perfect teeth, to replace the one he'd lost. The remaining were buttered yellow. His mouth smelled like dehydrated piss, strong as rat urine. And despite his hairiness from very early puberty, he had the smoothest skin, which reminded Wise of a woman who told him;
“Take your first pee of the morning in the shower. Get some on a washcloth and wash your face with it.
Chuck “bulldog” Hatton- had jowls, like a fat old man, and spit when he talked. His tone was a bark, like a miserable parent who yelled every word.
Tess, the female counselor, had a high ass, and pranced when she walked. Her long thick braid, swayed, controlled with the forceful charm of a snake. Everything she wore was eXtra, eXtra, eXtra, tight. She kept the boys in heat, with her cat print. They didn’t need to get their hands on magazines-just to visit her desk. A glance of her adjusting in her seat, the spread of legs was a flash of Porn. The boys leaked milk before they got to the bathroom, or under sheets.
The food... He tried to be grateful for it. Like kids who grew up in church, or with strict-caring parents. But the ones locked down with him seemed like the bad-asses, who never got theirs bruised. The ones who talked back, even cussed parents out because they felt rules meant slavery. Until he got to know them, and peeped their quirky fears, of hugs and but slaps after scoring. How they entered all doors and went to sleep last, or always stood with their backs against the wall, protecting an exit-wounded by perverts. The abusive, natural, and foster-ones that produced strays and runaways. Who dreamt of buying houses for those that hug and burning those that punched love away.
The night before Wise’s release, he had to run through THE TOMB. His fellow juvies lined up with lumpy pillowcases, zippers and fists. Their eyes filled with a happy excited rage. Sure, HE was Leaving, but they were held in. He had to make it through to reach to the womb of a new life.
By the time he pushed passed the blockers, he was too wobbly and senseless to care, or realize his dick was plunged in blood. Tess was his first. It was their secret. She knew he wouldn’t be able to hold it in.
When he started to seize, she pulled him deeper and said, “I’m naturally protected.”
He had no idea what she meant back then.
A tug at his pant leg, kicked him back into the moment. He made it through the alley faster than the shots that sent him to juvie and the one he parted with.
"Even wolves know when to retreat" his Grandaddy had told him.
Heavy footsteps pounded pavement- the city’s graveyard, covering man’s rage. Grey slabs, leading towards a coffin, classroom, or cell. Blocks stacked with weight he couldn’t hold. Where guardians and siblings needed an angel to protect home.
Rain flowed like tears from the blues of his Nanas favorite songs. The type that whispers to bones. Pulsing like nostalgia from heart break, spot raids, and bullets stuck in flesh. Reminders of keloids rubbed tenderly by girls who molded ugly into sexy, as long as they were fucked good and ate better than the hungry chicks hunting for leftovers.
Each drop was a knock-on dreams and nightmares. Fears men don’t open in front of any face that could reflect disappointment. Doors shut, because looking ahead, and back on mistakes, didn’t provide the strategy to overcome they visualized.
Wise was limping now. His adrenaline expired like an old hustler flirting with his last dime. Not moving too much, cause what he carried sank deep like water, and the souls it holds. And the rush he got from his Ruger- weaving, bobbing, dodging, conducting bodies.
Huh-huh-huh-huh- shit!.
He bent over-hands on knees-just for a second.
Gulping after escaped breath.
Huh-huh-huh-huh-huh-head up, hydrating.
Splashing puddles with sloppy feet, can’t run swift when you’re not looking. The ripple was evidence for the pursuers on him.
This was the only time he wished they would sue, instead of shooting. Dimming stars, falling on courts, pleading to juries crowding stands to cheer the loss of another minor who didn’t make it too.
“Man, that boy wasted his life!” “But at-least the neighborhoods are getting cleaned up- so our kids can suffer in private and safely from prescription drugs.”
Wise envied how smart people got rich from beings dumb!
Kill dem, don’t breed dem, fuck dem, don’t help dem, don’t be like…
These people pretend not to know. But the streets watch, hold strong, and tell, stories truer than the news. The only thing Wise hated was snitches. They made prison tenure mandatory for Black corner businesses.
More than that tho, he despised pillow talk, it made bitches on both sides.
At that moment he stopped. He knew love was lost.

Mental
I used to hate the rain. It reminded me of bullets and tears, watering sorrows.
The greyness made me think of cold skin. Embalmed flesh sliding into hearses, away from nightmares. Failed dreams painted with positivity I couldn’t stomach. Hard times I escaped and enemies I tried to take with me.
Now I see the grey as a protector, giving life and clarity to seasons of recovery.
Protein Shake
I walked into the gym, and they were talking, about getting “protein from Nut Milk!”
Is this why my gym is always packed?
The Look
The look that makes women shiver.
The look that makes bad-men shook
Bad memories sliced through like a train. If they caught him, he would end up on the tracks, somewhere, missing. He was out of breath.
Body and feet cooking…
They rushed him like a wave. Spinning and flipping from all angles. He was planning a vacation, but not this. Not now. He had kids to pick up. A girl and his side chick too.
He thought of begging, then remembered that has never saved a soul.
They dragged him to the alley. The hoods arena. Fans cheered, children awed, rivals evened the score.
The bullets lit him on fire. Left his body and feet cooking…

How to Cope after an Overdose
How to cope after an overdose
I burst with the excitement of a virgin. You recognized me with the glimmer of a stranger. I recognized you from equal parts feeling and smell, making my senses tingle like braces skinning a penis. A man never forgets that.
Or the jabs of nausea from the stench of burnt smoke, lungs, and plastic.
Ten years had passed since our last contact. You were high from the drugs you provided my love during her overdose.
Now it’s my turn to feel the excitement of death.
The Good Ones
Good parents say SHIT!-Because they don’t put up with any.
They steal- canned goods, heads of lettuce, and hearts. They hide pain, and make meals heavily seasoned with love, so their children won’t know the taste of suffering.
Some smoke, some drink, finding their way through vices and prayers.
Some watch porn, discuss sex, and disgust their children with conversations. They show anger and affection. And teach how to balance being firm and gentle.
Good parents forgive, because they know family heals.
Good parents say FUCK! because they know what it takes. They raise love through mistakes. When dis-respected, they allow you to choose peace or violence.
Good parents are felons too. They know an excuse is a seduction for losers and fools. They try to provide heaven on earth but mis-calculate their own worth.
